Horse Show Expenses

Hauling - hauling is $1.10 per mile round trip with a minimum of $75.00.  Price is subject to change according to current gas prices.

Per Diem - the per diem (day rate) for each day a horse is away for a show is $60.00.  Exceptions are Louisville, Lexington, and any show with less than three horses attending.  The rate for these exceptions will be $75.00 per day.

Other Expenses - the trainer's show expenses (hotel, travel, etc.), box seats, stall decorations, bedding, and tack stalls, will be pro-rated among the customers attending the horse show.  The horse/pony owner will pay all entries, stalls, office fees, and exhibitor fees directly to the horse show.

Tipping - tipping the caretakers is REQUIRED with a minimum of $25.00 per day for the number of days in the show.  If a customer forgets to tip, the appropriate amount will be included in the next monthly bill.

Equipment - Brian Reimer Stables asks their customers to provide all equipment necessary to show their horse or pony, such as bridle, saddle, harness or carts. If the customer does not have the needed equipment, Brian Reimer Stables will provide the equipment for a usage fee.

Registrations and Paperwork - the following are needed as applicable

                        Copy of horse/pony registration papers showing current owner
                        Copy of 2009 USEF membership card
                        Copy of 2009 ASHA membership card
                        Copy of UPHA membership card
                        Copy of Hackney Horse Association card
                        Copy of Road Horse/pony Association card
